      In one of my project we used three deviator for pan box stressing but the strand broke completely in the tendon , the reasons we acessed where due to high bending angle, concrete slurry intrusion inside casting, poor strand quality.what could actual reason that during final stressing all ply in strands failed.

        Was the strand stressed as single one? or was it part of a bundle being stressed together?
        Did all “ply” just broke completely?

        I am curious. Please provide more info.

          Dear sir,
          some reason also will be broken the strands,
          1) panbox stressing is used bendparrel must.
          2) you must not use in rust strand,
          3) donot allow overload by means apply only 75% TO 85 % ONLY APPLINIG THE UTS OF THE STRAND,
          4) casting is fixing need 90 degree.
          5)casting is fully concrete is gone,
          6)plz check the JACK calibration date and pressure gauge calibration date.
          7) before stressing will strat you must check jack master wedge. if it is falier also strand will broke at same time strand will go to inside of the tendon.
          8) before used the strand at slab you must check the ultimate tensile strength at lab.donot follow the mill certificate…..
